New Inverness signing hopes to follow in Doran's footsteps

New Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder David Carson wants to follow in the footsteps of Aaron Doran and be a success in the Highland capital.

Central midfielder Carson came through the Blackburn Rovers system, captaining their under-23 side before being released.

That was the same place vice-captain Aaron Doran plied his trade before making the move to Inverness, and he has become a key member of the Caley Thistle squad in the eight years since joining.

Carson, who has signed a two-year contract, is looking forward to getting started and hopes to emulate what Doran has achieved.
