Highland Stags reached the assessment game stage last year, but hope to be accepted into the national league this time around.

The Highland Stags have once again been named as a British American Football Association (BAFA) associate team, meaning they are one step closer to entering the national league.

The club, who play their home games in Invergordon, were in the same position this time last year and won five of their seven assessment games, but were denied entry.

Now the Stags have another chance, along with the other associate teams Darlington Steam, Dundee Hurricanes, Inverclyde Goliaths and Kings Lynn Patriots.
