Nairn County manager says Brora Rangers are team to beat





RONNIE Sharp believes Nairn County will have to overcome the Highland League’s champions-elect this weekend to enjoy a flying start at home.

The Wee County finally take a first bow in front of their own supporters after securing three away wins from three in a testing opening sequence of league matches.

There will be few home comforts to be drawn from the identity of the first visiting side, though, with Brora Rangers heading to Station Park in intimidating form.

Last season’s league runners-up have been even more ruthless, clocking up four wins from four, and preying on opponents with 19 goals for and only one against.

With champions Cove Rangers now playing in the SPFL, Sharp has no qualms about labelling Brora the main pretenders to the throne.
