Nairn County look to get back into action after match last week was called off as they face Brora Rangers in Highland League
NAIRN County hope to kick-off 2025 on Saturday when they travel north to take on Brora Rangers at Dudgeon Park.
They have also welcome back Brodie Watson who was on loan at North Caledonian League club Inverness Athletic and impressed manager Ross Tokely to bring him back for first team consideration.
Watson featured for Nairn in each of their last two league matches due to a break in the North Caledonian calendar. Liam Mackenzie and John Fowler have also returned to the club from Nairn St Ninian.
However, Nairn have also lost the services of Jack Walker going back to Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross Hardie heading back to Brora Rangers
Jamie Williamson has returned to Ross County to rehabilitate after requiring ankle surgery. Jonathan Bain will remain at Fort William for the rest of the season; Josh Stephenson, Ross Murhpy and Calum Young will similarly remain at Forres Thistle; while Liam Mackenzie and John Fowler have returned to the club from Nairn St Ninian.
Nairn will be looking to improve in the second half of the campaign after finding themselves in 12th place in the table as they will be looking to push into at least the top half.
Elsewhere in the Highland League tomorrow, league leaders Brechin will be looking to at least maintain their two-point advantage at the top when they head to Banff to take on Deveronvale.
Third place Banks O’Dee face a tough task when they travel to take on Huntly at Christie Park with Clachnacuddin in fourth heading to Wick.
Formartine United face Lossiemouth at Pitmedden with Forres Mechanics take on Keith at Mosset Park. Fraserburgh are set to host Rothes at Bellslea, with Strathspey Thistle hosting Buckie Thistle and Turriff United welcoming Inverurie Locos.
