Nairn County will be looking to sign off for a few weeks on a high note when they welcome reigning Highland League champions Buckie Thistle to Station Park.

Due to Scottish Cup and Highland League Cup fixtures forcing postponements, tomorrow’s match will be the last time Nairn are in action until December 14 when they play host to a Highland derby against Clachnacuddin.

Ross Tokely’s side, then, will be determined to go into the break from matches off the back of all three points, even with their opponents being last season’s champions.

Buckie have had a poor campaign by their own high standards, sitting ninth in the table at the season’s midway point with eight wins and eight defeats on their record through 17 matches.

Most recently they slumped to defeat against Keith, albeit with the disadvantage of having had a man sent off when they were already 1-0 down.

Nairn, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing result themselves after a 2-1 loss away at Deveronvale last weekend.
