Nairn County go top of North Caledonian League Division Two with win against Loch Ness in Inverness

Nairn County Colts have gone top of North Caledonian League Division Two after winning an eight-goal thriller at Canal Park.

Loch Ness took the lead through DJ Macphee after 16 minutes but Ryan Moodie levelled for Nairn four minutes later.

Macphee scored from the penalty spot as Loch Ness regained the lead midway through the first half but Robbie Mackenzie levelled for Nairn at half time.

Ciaran Young scored twice in the space of seven minutes midway through the second half but Ryan Macleod reduced the deficit to one 60 seconds later.

Kieran Duffty killed the game off eight minutes from time scoring from a free kick to put Nairn two points clear at the top of the table.
