John Maclean and Stevie Webster have accepted invitations to join the committee as they look ahead to the 2025/26 Highland League season.

Kevin Reid, who was appointed as the new chairman of Nairn County last month says both men will bring valuable experience to the club.

He said: “We have made some additions to the management committee and I am absolutely delighted that both John Maclean and Stevie Webster have accepted invitations to join us.

“Both of these guys will bring great value to the club and have skillsets which will be of huge benefit to us as well as both having a real passion for Nairn County.

“These are the traits we are looking for and I am keen to add more people to our management committee. Hopefully, we will be able to confirm some more additions soon.”

It has also been confirmed Nairn County have confirmed two friendlies ahead of the new season. They include travelling to North Region Championship winners Lossiemouth United on Saturday, July 5 and at home to Arbroath Victoria at Station Park on Saturday, July 19.

Last week, former player Wayne Mackintosh was hired as the permanent new manager of Nairn County replacing Ross Tokely who stood down from the post in January.

Brian Macleod took temporary charge of Nairn County for the remainder of last season.
