Inverness Caley Thistle confirm former Dunfermline midfielder Paul Allan has committed his future to the Highland capital club
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have confirmed that Paul Allan has signed a new contract to remain at the club for the 2025/26 season.
The 25-year-old midfielder was one of four players who were revealed to still be in negotiations with the club when 11 others committed to the club last month.
Of that quartet, Musa Dibaga and Charlie Gilmour both ended up leaving the club, while no confirmation has been given on Remi Savage’s status.
However, Allan has become the first of that group to stay in the Highland capital, agreeing an initial one-year extension.
He was a key part of the League One side that avoided relegation despite battling against a 15-point penalty for going into administration, making 34 appearances and scoring six goals.
Head coach Scott Kellacher told the club’s website: “Everyone at the club is delighted that Paul has extended his contract with us.
“He was a massive part of the team last year and he will be going forward too.”
Allan himself said: “I’m happy to have signed up and I’m looking forward to getting back for pre-season.
“Now things off the pitch are moving forward positively, I’m hopeful we can have a right good crack at it in the new season.”
