McLeod taking one round at a time with Clachnacuddin in Scottish Cup

Sandy McLeod is only dreaming of Clachnacuddin making it to the second round of the Scottish Cup and not a potential glamour tie against a Premiership outfit.

The Lilywhites road to Hampden starts 16 miles east when they travel to high flying Nairn County on Saturday as they look to cause a shock result in the first round encounter.

McLeod who took over as manager at Grant Street Park earlier this month says playing in the national cup competition is a challenge he and his players are savouring.

But instead of looking at rewards which may lie further ahead, he says his team must get over the first hurdle at Station Park.

"The only thing that we are looking at is getting into the next round," he said.

"It is a great experience to play in and Scottish Cup games are something that you always remember being involved in."
