Winger Darren McCauley has left Inverness Caledonian Thistle, the club have announced.

The 27-year-old signed for Caley Thistle on a two and a half year contract in January, committing him to the club until the summer of 2021.

However the Irishman, who made 17 appearances for ICT and scored two goals, has now left to sign for Derry City for an undisclosed fee.

McCauley was linked with Derry before moving to the Highland capital, and has now finally made the move back to his hometown club.
