Caley Thistle Women looking forward to home comforts against East Fife

Inverness Caledonian Thistle Women will be playing their first game at home in seven weeks when they host East Fife on Sunday.

A mix of cup games and postponements means it has been a while since the squad played a competitive match at Millburn Academy, but they have still managed to keep winning in their absence.

ICT have picked up victories over Kelty Hearts, Deveronvale, Westdyke Ladies and most recently Raith Rovers 8-2 last Sunday.

That has kept Karen Mason’s side well in the hunt for second spot in the Division One North table, and she wants to continue that charge back at home.

“It has been a long time coming!” Mason said.

“That was just the way it went with cup games. It will be nice to be back at home and hopefully get some of the supporters back down again to cheer the girls on."
