Mann trying to find magical remedy

Ross Sutherland head coach John Mann says his squad needs to change their mind-set to be more competitive in matches.

The Stags narrowly lost out to North Police 38-28 last weekend, realistically ending any lasting hopes of breaking into the top four in the Caledonia North Two table.

Mann still saw positives in the display, but was left frustrated by recurring problems from his team.

“I still haven’t figured out the problem that we start slow, and again we conceded two tries in the first 10 minutes,” he explained.

“I’m getting to the stage where I need to start going to see magicians or shrinks or someone, I’ve got to get a bit of magic going because I still haven’t figured out that problem."
