Deveronvale equalised with 14 minutes remaining when Harry Noble fired home a low drive from 12 yards.

Substitute Ciaran Young thought he had won the match in the final minute of normal time, firing a low drive into the net.

But with the final kick of the game, Jamie Tinnock levelled the match with a spectacular overhead kick from 12 yards to send Deveronvale back to Banff with a point.

Nairn had the ball at the Deveronvale corner flag with a minute to go and Sharp blasted his players for not maintaining possession and trying to find a third when they should have rode out the clock.

"It was ridiculous game management," he said.

"We had the ball up at the corner flag with a minute to go and we give it away in the box. You can't do that.

"We worked hard to get ahead and they do a thing like that, we have to be better than that.

"As soon as you give the ball to them the break is on and it was just ridiculous from us.

"We should have been 3–0 up, we should have had a penalty that wasn't given.

"But at 1–0 and were in control of the game. But it is the story of our season so far. We got the ball going forward, then they go on the counter attack and we've not been able to handle it."

Nairn County are still searching for their first win of the campaign and said it was improved performance from the 3–1 defeat at Formartine United seven days previously.

But Sharp was not happy his team did not see out the game with victory.

"We were better this week than last week, we were competitive, worked hard, did the right things, but we needed the second goal at 1–0 and we had enough chances.

"Then they get us on the counter attack, it is 1-1 then it is the same at the end. We are deep down in their half, we give it away again and it is 2-2.

"It was an excellent finish from the boy, but nobody in our defence attacks the ball with their heads.

"I am not happy."
