Lovat into the last eight with Kings win

Lovat booked their place in the quarter finals of the MacTavish Cup with a 3-1 win over Kingussie to set up a last eight clash against Skye in Portree.

Lewis Tawse gave the home side an 18th minute lead and this was all that was between the teams until Marc MacLachlan doubled Lovat’s advantage in the 73rd minute.

Kings reduced the deficit 10 minutes later through a fierce Savio Genini drive and with the game drawing to a conclusion, Greg Matheson netted to seal Lovat’s victory.
