Clachnacuddin manager Sandy McLeod has hailed teenage winger Ross Logan as the kind of player who gets fans off their seats.

The 17-year-old from Conon Bridge won the Highland League goal of the week award in the 3–1 victory over Keith last Saturday.

McLeod paid tribute to Logan who he says has already proven himself to be one of the club’s most important players this season.

“Ross Logan is unbelievable and he is on fire,” he said.

“He had a hand in all three of the goals at Keith and he is doing so well just now.

“When he gets on the ball, things can happen. He is the kind of player you want to watch playing football and gets people off their seats as he is an exciting player.”

Clach look for their third win-in-a-row when they host Deveronvale at Grant Street Park tomorrow where victory could reduce the gap with the Banff outfit to two points.

McLeod said: “We’re at home and if the boys apply themselves like they did against Keith we should have a good chance. It is showing the wins are giving us confidence.”
