Full time: Ross County 1–3 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Three minutes added

88' Sutherland puts daylight between the teams

Surely that leaves the result in no doubt now?

Shane Sutherland has found the net, taking over after Roddy MacGregor controlled a free kick well to find the bottom corner.

Inverness are now 3–1 with only a couple of minutes left, it will take some serious late drama to keep County in this competition.

55' MacKay gives ICT the advantage

That is brilliant work from Daniel MacKay to put Inverness ahead.

The chance actually stemmed from a Ross County corner, which was cleared up the pitch by Carson to MacKay, but he still had a bit of work to do.

Starting deep out left, his pace gave him a yard and he squeezed his way between two blue shirts to find himself one-on-one with Laidlaw, before coolly finding the net.

The second half is under way between Ross County and Caley Thistle!

Half time thoughts

There really isn't much between these two sides – and I'm not sure if that's a compliment to Championship outfit ICT or a criticism of top flight Ross County.

It took a while for the game to kick into gear, but Daniel MacKay's battle with Leo Hjelde has been a fascinating one to watch.

Inverness have worked hard off the ball and look organised, but quality in the final third has largely let them down, while the Staggies have been playing high balls too often – in the last 20 minutes of the half they switched to playing through balls in behind which has yielded a bit more success.

Really, the way the game had been going, it was no surprise that it took a set-piece to break the deadlock, but ICT responded well to hit back immediately. Hopefully those goals will get the confidence flowing on both sides and we'll see more chances in the second 45 minutes.

Half time: Ross County 1–1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

39' ICT draw level

Once again it is a set piece that has led to the goal, as Welsh's free kick gets headed across the penalty box.

It sits up perfectly for Nikolay Todorov to run on to, and he smacks the ball into the far corner to draw Inverness level.

38' Mckay fires County in front

Neither goalkeeper has had all that much to do, so perhaps it's fitting that the deadlock is broken from a set-piece routine.

Kelly's corner was flicked on at the near post by Shaw, with Billy Mckay there in the middle to send the ball into the net.

28' Daniel MacKay finishes past Laidlaw after latching on to Allan's through ball, but the flag goes up for offside.

15' Not much quality in the final third from either side so far, with the game jut a little scrappy.

Daniel MacKay has thought he has gotten in a couple of times, only to see a blue shirt come across to cut him off or intercept his pass, while County have been guilty of playing high balls up the pitch without a target man, as Oli Shaw is leading the line with Jordan White on the bench.

We have kick off in Dingwall!

Neil McCann meanwhile has made three changes to the Caley Thistle team, including a first start for loanee Scott Allan in midfield.
