Full time: Queen of the South 1–1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

86' Final Inverness change as Harper comes on to replace Todorov.

82' Great work from Storey again down the right to create a shooting opportunity for a teammate, this time Shane Sutherland.

The forward seemed to catch it fairly cleanly, but Ferguson made the save to keep the scores level.

75' Another change for Inverness as Sutherland comes on for Allan

68' Todorov equalises for ICT

There are not many players in better form in front of goal than Nikolay Todorov in the Championship, and he has added another to his tally to make it 1–1.

Miles Storey used his space to steal a yard on the right flank, and he sent a hanging cross in towards the back post where the Bulgarian won his duel to nod in from close range.

66' Queens take the lead

Aidan Fitzpatrick charges through he middle and acres of space opens up for him.

Ridgers tries to rush him by closing the angle, but the Queens man does well to first past him and into the net.

64' Devine with a header at goal after meeting Allardice's chipped free kick, but Ferguson grabs it.

61' Allan does well to take the ball under control inside the home box, but he drags his shot just wide of the mark.

58' Changes for both sides as James Vincent comes on for Roddy MacGregor, and Aidan Fitzpatrick replacing Isaiah Jones for the hosts.

53' McCabe's free kick is met by Buchanan, but he cannot get enough power on the header to trouble Ridgers.

51' Caley Thistle struggle to clear their lines, allowing McCabe to get a shot in on goal – but Ridgers dives across to take it under control.

The second half is under way!

Half time thoughts

After a bright first few minutes where both sides had chances, things really settled into a holding pattern for much of the first half.

Things started to liven up a bit again in the 10 minutes or so before the interval, but Inverness will be hoping for a bit more of a spark after the restart.

Queens look like a threat on the counter attack with plenty of pace up front, but it is the visitors who are having more of the ball – they just need to be better with the final pass to create clearer sights of goal.

Scott Allan looks like the key to ICT's play today – he has tried a couple of imaginative passes that just haven't quite come off, but if one of them does that may well be what breaks the deadlock.

Half time: Queen of the South 0–0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

45' Allan and Allardice try the free kick routine again, but this time the shot is well wide of the mark.

43' Storey forces another save out of Ferguson, before MacGregor sends the ball back into the middle where Todorov takes a sore one trying to volley it towards goal. He's fine to continue.

41' Allan rolls a free kick into Allardice's path 25 yards out, and he hits it towards the bottom corner where Ferguson makes the stop.

34' ICT go up the other end with an attack, it is Allan who gets a header in at goal but that it an easy save for Ferguson.

33' Shields just misses the target, but Ridgers must have gotten fingertips to the ball as a corner – which comes to nothing – is given.

26' Ridgers has to dived to his right at full stretch to deny Breen, who had headed the ball towards the far post after connecting with a free kick.

4' Dickson plays the ball into space for Shields to run on to. The Queens man tries to shoot, but the angle is against him and Ridgers takes the ball in.

3' Allan with the first shot at goal after Storey had taken Caley Thistle 40 up the park, but it is a comfortable save for Ferguson.

We have kick off in Dumfries!

20 minutes to kick off

It is the same side that started Tuesday's match against Morton for Caley Thistle, with the issue that ruled Sean Welsh out in the warm up at Cappielow keeping him out of the squad again today.

That means Brad McKay keeps the captain's armband, with Neil McCann looking for Nikolay Todorov and Daniel MacKay to continue their scoring form.

Substitutes: Leighfield, McKee, Fitzpatrick, Pybus, Dobbie, East, Joseph.

ICT: Ridgers, Devine, Carson, MacGregor, Storey, Allardice, McKay, Allan, Deas, D MacKay, Todorov.

Substitutes: C MacKay, Duffy, McHattie, Sutherland, Vincent, Harper, Lyall.
