Full time thoughts

And breathe...

There was a long time there Inverness did not look like taking anything from the game at all, but suddenly they will feel like they've been robbed.

A manic last 15 minutes looked like it had turned the game on it's head, but Miles Storey's missed penalty proved costly.

Credit to Alloa for plugging away after the turnaround, but they should not have had the chance to nick a point at the end.

There's no doubt about it, with the Championship as close as it is, this became two dropped points instead of one earned, despite Alloa leading for such a long time.

Full time: Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2–2 Alloa Athletic

85' Trouten levels from the spot

Alloa have scored a penalty of their own, after a foul by Cameron Harper.

Trouten stepped up and coolly converted, and we are once again level in the final stages.

83' Keatings goes close with a directed header, just missing the far post.

81' Storey misses from the spot

The referee has awarded Inverness a penalty after judging Grant blocked Sutherland's shot with his hand.

Storey steps up... and Parry saves!

He had to dive low to his left, and it may have touched the post on it's way clear, but it stays out.

79' Keatings puts Inverness in front

Again, a goal has come from a bit of play down the left flank for Caley Thistle.

This time it was Miles Storey who cut the ball back for James Keatings, whose shot finds the bottom corner despite Parry's best efforts.

The substitutes have linked up to turn the game on it's head.

77' Duffy levels for Caley Thistle

Inverness are back on level terms, and they have gotten there through an unlikely source.

Harper's cross goes all the way though to Wallace Duffy, who checks back and finds the top corner with his left foot.

Can Inverness go on and find a winner from here?

71' Alloa are staying resolute and making life really difficult for ICT, who have responded by bringing on Miles Storey and James Keatings to try and unpick their opponents.

59' Trouten has time at the back post to pick his spot from a Taggart free kick, but he blazes the ball high and wide from close range.

56' Allardice with a low shot from the edge of the box, which is held by Parry. ICT restricted too often to shooting from distance so far.

The second half is under way!

Half time thoughts

Inverness started the brighter of the two teams, but they have not been able to hit those heights since going behind.

It was a bad mistake at the back which Alloa – to be fair to them – capitalised on clinically.

Without the ball, the Wasps are reverting to a 5–4–1, making it difficult for Inverness to break them down, but they have reverted to a long ball strategy too often.

Todorov does look bright, and seems to be ICT's most likely source of a goal in the air, but they might need a stroke of luck to get through this Alloa side the way things are going.

Half time: Caley Thistle 0–1 Alloa Athletic

44' MacGregor has the ball in the back of the net, but the referee's whistle has already gone for an Alloa free kick.

28' Todorov goes close with a header after connecting with Harper's free kick from deep.

19' Cameron gives Alloa the lead

It is a mistake at the back from ICT, and the visitors are in front.

Trouten intercepted a ball out of defence, and gave it to Grant who played a nice through ball for Cameron.

One-on-one with Ridgers, the on-loan Kilmarnock man goes around the keeper and strikes the ball into an empty net.

9' Good pressure from Inverness in the early going, with a succession of corners and a couple of shots from outside the box, but they have not been able to work Parry in the Alloa goal as yet.

We have kick off!

15 minutes to kick off

Inverness coach Barry Wilson has gone for an unchanged line-up tonight against bottom of the table Alloa.

That means David Carson keeps his place in the side after making his first start in around a year.

ICT: Ridgers, Duffy, Devine, Carson, Sutherland, MacGregor, Harper, Allardice, Deas, D MacKay, Todorov.

Substitutes: C MacKay, Keatings, Storey, McKay, Nicolson, Hyde, Harkness.

Alloa: Parry, Taggart, Dick, Graham, Hetherington, Cawley, Robertson, Trouten, Cameron, Scougall, Grant.

Substitutes: Wright, Buchanan, Brown, Jamieson, Connolly, Thomson, Murray.
