Kellacher: Late decision shows lack of repsonsibility

Scott Kellacher believes Scottish football’s decision-makers must take far greater responsibility in avoiding farcical late call-offs like Friday night’s away game to Ayr United.

The Caley Thistle assistant manager had no issue with the actual postponement decision as storm winds battered the Championship leaders’ Somerset Park ground.

But Kellacher took exception to the lateness of the call from match referee Craig Thomson – as Inverness were only told little more than 30 minutes before kick off that their long journey had been in vain.

With weather forecasts on the evening pointing to likely difficulties, Kellacher sees no reason why an earlier shout wasn’t made.
