John Robertson says former Caley Thistle manager set the standard for all Scottish Cup quests





FORMER manager John Hughes set the benchmark for every Scottish Cup run Caley Thistle embark on, says John Robertson.

He is not content on causing an upset against Hibernian tonight and reaching the semi finals for the second year in succession.

The current manager wants to replicate Caley Thistle winning the Scottish Cup in 2015.

Robertson says the club have created a proud tradition in the competition and is looking for their run to continue with a win at Easter Road tonight.

“It means everything to the club, but semi finals aren’t good enough,” he said.
