It is good to be back, says Caley Thistle midfielder





SEAN Welsh has spoken of his relief at getting back on the pitch for Inverness Caledonian Thistle after being out injured for six months.

The midfielder made his return on Tuesday night in the club’s 3-1 win over Forres Mechanics in the North of Scotland Cup quarter final.

Welsh played a full 90-minutes for the first time since recovering from a broken metatarsal against Alloa Athletic in March.

He said he still has work to do to get back to full fitness, but is glad to be back in competitive action again.
