Caley Thistle manager John Robertson says anyone wanting his players in the transfer window won’t get them on the cheap after five players have received interest from other clubs.

The club have given permission for defenders Coll Donaldson and Shaun Rooney to speak to Ross County and Dundee respectively.

He also revealed three unnamed players have been approached by other clubs.

But they are believed to be players who are out of contract at the end of the season which includes Aaron Doran, Jamie McCart, Brad McKay, Charlie Trafford and Tom Walsh.

In response, Caley Thistle have made offers for two players, with Falkirk defender Lewis Toshney linked with a move to the Caledonian Stadium.

But Robertson says if clubs want his players during the January transfer window, they will have to stump up.

“One thing that has been made clear is they will not be getting them for peanuts,” he said.

“They will not be getting them for pennies.

“If they want to come get them now that is their prerogative, but if they think they will get them cheap in the transfer window, no chance."
