Inverness teenager is big winner at boxing awards

EMILY MacDonald packed a punch at the Highland Boxing Academy Awards where she was one of the big winners on the night.

The Inverness teenager picked up four trophies during the ceremony at the Caledonian Stadium.

As well as winning the best female award, she also won the best junior, critics choice and female ambassador award.

MacDonald enjoyed the best season of her career so far when she won gold at the International Box Cup in Hull in June.
