Inverness teenager becomes under-20 Scottish cross country champion

Megan Keith continued her dominance in Scottish cross country as she claimed the national under-20 championship in Falkirk.

The 17-year-old Millburn Academy pupil stormed to victory winning by one minute and two seconds over her nearest rival.

Keith won the race in 25 minutes and 52 seconds with second place Cera Gemmell from East Lothian second in 26:54 and Holly Page from Edinburgh University Hare and Hounds third in 27:30.

Keith has reigned supreme in cross country this winter in Scotland, winning the Short Course at Kirkcaldy and also the Run Stirling under-20 as well as recently posting an Under-20 course record at Armagh in Northern Ireland.
