Inverness Harriers claim three titles at North Cross Country Championships with Orkney also celebrating success
INVERNESS Harriers celebrated major success when they claimed three titles at the North Cross Country Relay Championships on Saturday.
Inverness Harriers took the Senior Men and Masters title with the team of Ruairidh Stirling, Robin Regan, Stephen Mackay and Luke Davidson winning in 49 minutes and 55 seconds.
East Sutherland Athletics Club claimed silver with Blair Mackay, Ruairidh Gollan, Finlay Murray and Ross Gollan second in 50:51.
Moray Road Runners (James Wilson, Colin McRae, Andrew Jones and Alistair MacWilliam) took bronze in third in 54:05.

Inverness Harriers’ teams claimed all three places on the podium in the Young Female Relay Race.
The team of Kyla Grant, Niamh Doorley and Anna Meek claimed victory in 28:22.
Iyla Souter, Amy Simpson and Sky Simpson claims second place in 30:55 with Anwen Morley, Anna English and Rona Laird third in 32:08.

In the Young Male Relay Race, the Inverness Harriers team of Riley Davidson, Charles Davies and Archie Grant won in 26:49.
Ross County teams claimed second and third place, with James Macaskill, Fraser Hume and Billy Sutherland taking silver in 26:51 and Mackie Henderson, Callum Crawford and Jamie MacGruer taking bronze in 27:43.

In the Senior Women and Masters Cup, Orkney Athletic and Running Club claimed gold with Lillie Giggle-Bain, Elsie Hutchison and Ava Luke winning in 45:00.
Highland Hill Runners (Kirstie Rogan, Lizzie Richardson and Mared Owen) were second in 45:25 and Stornoway Running and Athletics Club (Coleen Monrad, Ailyn Mackay and Abbie Stewart) third in 47:13.
