Inverness Harriers break 5k club records at Run and Become Sri Chinmoy Invitational

Sean Chalmers and Megan Keith set new 5k Inverness Harriers club records at the Run and Become invitational at Lochgelly.

Chalmers set a new club record of 14 minutes and 21 seconds for fourth place overall in a strong field of athletes.

The record was previously held by Stephen Mackay, who also managed to equal his personal best at 14:52 for 23rd place.

In the women's race, Megan Keith continued to add to her list of under-20 club records as she won the title in 17 minutes and was fifth overall.
