Inverness Four Day Open final underway as pair battle for title

Lewis Reid and Ross Naismith are currently battling it out in the final of the Inverness Four Day Open.

The pair took the course at Inverness Golf Club this afternoon looking to claim the Rosswood Trophy at Culcabock.

The pair came through their respective semi finals this morning to reach the final

Naismith from Brora Golf Club defeated Connor Hall in his semi final 2/1.

Reid was pushed all the way to the 18th hole before seeing off Andrew Hutchison one-up in his last four clash.

Naismith was in impressive form in the run-up to the final as he defeated Paul Savage 7/5 in his quarter final clash.

In his last 16 match, he defeated Graham Gunn 5/4.

Reid was also in impressive form in the run-up to the final.

He defeated John Forbes in his quarter final clash 4/2 while in his last-16 clash he defeated Andrew Ross 4/2.

In the Section One final, Dougie Gordon takes on Kian Ross.

In the Section Two final, Seth Anderson takes on John Morrison.

In the Section Three final, Alan Savage takes on Gokay Deveci.

Meanwhile in the Consolation Cup, Ewan Selkirk faces David Oddy.
