Inverness discus thrower competes at European Championships

George Evans goes into discus action for Great Britain on Saturday in the European Under-23 championships at Gavle in Sweden.

The 21-year-old Inverness Harrier, who has medals from previous age group championships, reached the 59 metre selection standard whilst competing for the University of Kansas in April.
