INVERNESS Craig Dunain ended Ellon 2nd XV's promotion hopes in emphatic fashion as they won by 72 points.

Craig Dunain will look to finish the season in third place in Caledonia Four when they host champions Aberdeen University Medics on Saturday, March 21.

Inverness Craig Dunain's own hopes for promotion were ended when Aberdeenshire 2nd XV withdrew from the league making all results involving their matches null and void.
