Inverness Caledonian Thistle Women will look to make it four wins out of four in the Championship North when they travel to Dundee West on Sunday.

Their 9–0 victory over Stonehaven last time out was their third on the bounce as they try to keep tabs on the top of the table after a disappointing start by their own high standards.

Caley Thistle were heavy favourites last time out, and it will be the same scenario again for them this weekend going to a Dundee West side who have conceded 47 goals from their seven games so far, picking up just a single win.

Even after such a one-sided victory, though, ICT still feel as though there is room for improvement.

“To be honest, we could have done a lot better,” central defender Alex Andrews said.

“We could have scored a bunch more goals, so we’ll take the clean sheet and the three points, but there’s a lot of improvements to make.

“I think there’s still more to come. I don’t think we’ve been clinical enough for a few goals, even though we’ve won by plenty of goals we can definitely score more.

“Their keeper did well on Sunday, but we need to get our shooting boots on I think.”

One thing that was pleasing for everyone at Inverness was adding another clean sheet to their record – only their third of the season – and confidence will be high on Sunday.

“I don’t think we were really tested too much to be fair, but it was good to get everyone on and get goals for a few different people as well,” Andrews reasoned.

“It’s easy to lose concentration when you’re going forward so much, especially for myself playing at centre back, so I was pleased to get a clean sheet – all of the back four throughout the game were.

“We could have got a few more goals, but winning by a bunch of goals to get three points is always good, so we’ll take that in to when we go away from home.”
