Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust invite fans to meeting at stadium on Saturday
FANS are set to be given the opportunity to voice their views and concerns about Inverness Caledonian Thistle at a meeting which is set to take place at the stadium on Saturday.
The Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust is set to host its next meeting at Bar 94 at the Caledonian Stadium on Saturday at noon.
The Trust said interim chairman Scott Young and interim chief executive Charlie Christie have said they will look to attend the meeting before the team face Annan Athletic in a League One clash tomorrow afternoon.
The meeting is set to take place as the future of the club is still in doubt as it remains on the verge of administration.
Yesterday, the club confirmed that the deadline for bids of investment has now passed.
Trust spokesman George Moodie says the meeting will be an opportunity for fans to voice their views on the situation at the club and hopefully get answers.
Moodie said: “Both Charlie Christie and Scott Young have said they can commit some time to us at the meeting on Saturday.
“There is no real agenda, but we are conscious we have not had a supporters meeting this season. We will see what questions our membership still have about what is going on at the club.
“We will take the questions forward to the board. We will keep fans engaged what is going forward at the club.
“The Supporters Trust’s position is we would prefer that the club avoided going into administration due to the impact of jobs on the park and off the park as well as a points deduction.
“But if administration is the only answer to ensure the club survives longer term, that may have to be the only avenue.
“Our position is we would prefer to avoid it if possible, but this is in the hands of the board and we hope they will come to the right decision on behalf of the football club.”
