New chair appointed to Inverness Caley Thistle Supporters’ Trust as fan group celebrates six-fold increase in membership since 2022
Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s Supporters’ Trust have appointed a new chairperson at their first board meeting of 2025.
Former chairperson and secretary Jennifer Aitchison stepped down from her dual role at the end of last year, creating vacancies to be filled.
George Moodie has stepped up to the top role, taking over as chairperson, assisted by Laura Grant as vice-chairperson.
Robert Andrew has taken on the mantle of secretary, while Kath Fraser and Alison McInnes continue as treasurer and membership secretary respectively.
The Supporters’ Trust also confirmed the addition of Mikey Lyall and Peter Murphy to the board, while David Moffat has been co-opted in.
In their latest update, the Trust also confirmed that plans for a fans’ meeting in February have been deferred until March 1 in the hope that the outcome of ICT’s administration will become clearer.
Other updates were provided on Bar 94 at the Caledonian Stadium, as well as the new matchday bus service to help fans get from the city centre to the stadium.
The Trust say they have received positive feedback on Bar 94, and say continued improvements are in the works, particularly regarding the ladies’ toilet facilities.
They also said that the new bus service has seen good usage on each of its first two days of operation, with revenue from December 28 donated back to the Trust, totalling £319.53.
Finally, they confirmed that Trust membership represents a six-fold increase on the number of members in 2022.
