Inverness Caledonian Thistle look to mark silver anniversary in style

John Robertson has called on his players to celebrate 25 years of Inverness Caledonian Thistle in style against Arbroath at home tomorrow.

Caley Thistle’s first home match of the season falls almost exactly 25 years to the date after their first match after election to the Scottish senior league, which appropriately was also against Arbroath.

On that day, club legend Alan Hercher wrote his name in the history books as he scored ICT’s first league goal.

Hercher would go on to take home the match ball with a hat trick that day in a 5-2 win for Inverness, so Robertson would like to see a similarly entertaining performance tomorrow.
