INVERNESS Athletic were denied a point as Michael Petrie's 94th minute penalty saw Thurso take all three points back to Caithness.

Steven Morris put Thurso in front after two minutes but Phil Macdonald levelled for Athletic in the 12th minute.

David Hale put Thurso back in front five minutes before half time.

MacDonald thought he earned Athletic a point when he scored a penalty in the 93rd minute.

But 60 seconds later they conceded a penalty which Petrie scored to break Inverness hearts as they dropped to seventh in the table.
