The Inverness amateur outfit have been successful in their bid to join the North Caledonian Football Association along with Nairn County A and Scourie for the 2020/21 campaign.

Carling says it has been a long-held ambition of the club to join the North Caledonian League and is delighted it has finally been realised.

“This is what we have worked hard for in the last three months to get everything in place and meet all the criteria,” he said.

“It is a new opportunity for footballers in Inverness to play for another club as well as create a city derby with Inverness Athletic which will attract a lot of interest.”
