Thomas was one of 16 youngsters selected to compete for Scotland at the competition which took place last weekend.
He was the fastest Scottish athlete in his race with Alasdair McLean running strongly to finish sixth followed by Ben Hodson 14th and Dan McGuire 16th.
Scotland finished second overall in the race behind winners England with Wales in third place.
