Inverness Caledonian Thistle have announced their friendly against Brora Rangers has been called off after a 'Covid related incident' in the Highland capital.

Billy Dodds' men had been due to travel to Dudgeon Park tomorrow night to play the Highland League champions in their third pre-season friendly, but the contest will no longer take place.

A statement on Caley Thistle's website read: "The club is cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities and will continue to follow our Covid protocols to the highest order.

"The club will be making no further comment at this time."

Covid cases have been rare in the Highlands since football started up again, with only two previous incidents at Inverness and none registered at neighbours Ross County.
