Cage fighter Ross Houston says he is confident his next fight will see him become crowned a mixed martial arts world champion.

The Inverness athlete continued his unbeaten record in professional competition where he recorded his seventh straight win against Nathan Jones at Cage Warriors 95 in London on Saturday night.

Now he is confident he will be soon announced as the opponent to face newly crowned welterweight champion Italian Stefano Paterno later this year.

Houston (27) felt that he should have been fighting for the world title last weekend due to his dominant record in the welterweight division.
