Highland trio included in Scotland squad for World Squash Championship

Three squash players from the Highlands have been included in the Scotland squad for the World Team Championships in New Zealand next month.
Alan Clyne from Munlochy, Greg Lobban from North Kessock and Alasdair Prott from Inverness, have been named in the Scotland squad for the world championship which take place in Tauranga from Monday, December 11 to Sunday, December 17.
They will be part of a four man squad which will also include Rory Stewart from Perth.
This year’s edition will mark a return for the championship which was last held in 2019 after Covid forced the cancellation of the 2021 tournament.
Clyne (37), who made his debut for Scotland at the World Championship in 2005 will be competing at his seventh world championship tournament.
Lobban (31) will be competing in his third World Team Championship for Scotland after making his debut in 2013.
Prott (22) is set to make his debut at the World Team Championship after enjoying a successful season.
