Kelly Brown, former Scotland Captain and current Saracens Assistant Coach; Bruce Aitchison, commentator and creator of rugby blog and podcast ‘Happiness is Egg Shaped’; Doctor James Robson, team doctor for the Scotland national rugby union team and part of the medical team for the British Lions; Lyndsey Smith, originally from Inverness and former Scotland Ladies player and currently Regional Manager SRU Caledonia North; and Mark Palmer The Times and Sunday Times Scottish Rugby Correspondent, complete the stellar line-up at Highland RFC’s Centenary Dinner taking place at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness.

Speaking about the event, Roy Dinnes, vice president of Highland RFC, said: “The Centenary Dinner looks set to be a very special night indeed. We’ve got some true legends from the world of rugby union speaking on the night as well as a charity auction with unique items such as the 29-year-old Balblair whisky, generously donated by leading malt whisky specialist Gordon & MacPhail, housed in a bespoke bronze plinth created exclusively for Highland RFC by fine art, architectural and memorial bronze foundry Black Isle Bronze. You can even bid to have your son, daughter or grandchild as a Scotland Team mascot at the Scotland versus Australia match on Saturday Saturday, October 29."

The money raised from the charity auction will support charities Mikeysline, Alzheimer Scotland, My Name’5 Doddie and Highland RFC so that the club can continue to promote and deliver rugby to communities across the Highlands.
