Highland League clubs now know what the first three weeks of the new campaign will look like – if crowds are allowed to return to grounds.

Clachnacuddin are scheduled to be on the road for their first game of the 2020/21 season as they travel to Buckie Thistle on Saturday, October 17.

Nairn County meanwhile will kick off their campaign on home soil as Keith visit Station Park.

Elsewhere, Forres Mechanics are also at home as they welcome Turriff United to Mosset Park.

Rothes start at Deveronvale and last season's bottom two clubs Fort William and Lossiemouth meet at Claggan Park.

Huntly are at Formartine, and Inverurie Locos have drawn the short straw by becoming the first side to visit reigning champions Brora Rangers.

The Highland League have stressed that the games will only go ahead next month if government advice allows them to proceed with spectators in attendance, but pre-season friendlies have begun to take place this weekend as teams step up their preparations.

League chiefs added that all home clubs must have received SHFL approval for their grounds meeting protocol set within the Covid-19 safety guidelines.
