Super6 teams providing greater challenge for Highland

Boroughmuir will prove to be just as tough opposition as Watsonians and Heriot’s Blues have been for Highland in recent weeks.

Dave Carson’s men have lost their last two games against the Super6 amateur sides, with Boroughmuir the next to travel to Canal Park tomorrow.

On paper, the Edinburgh club have had a poor start to the season, winning just two of their opening six league games, but they did record a win over Cartha Queens Park last time out.

Highland had beaten Watsonians in August in the Scottish Cup before losing to them in the league last week.

So Carson believes the Super6 clubs are going from strength to strength as the season progresses.
