Carson expects bonus points from Highland's home run in National One

Bonus point wins at home are the minimum expectation for Highland as they look to keep up the chase at the top of the National One title race.

The fourth-placed Greens welcome Ayr to Canal Park looking to close the four-point gap to leaders Biggar who play second place Heriot’s Blues.

A victory should see Highland move to third place in the division and Carson is demanding his team run in four tries on Saturday.

“At home you have to look at a bonus if you can,” he said

“We ran in five tries last week and got the bonus point the week before as well.

“If we put in the same performance I am confident that we can get the scores required.”
