Highland favourites to win league title

Mike Gordon scored four tries for Highland against Dalziel.

Highland are back in the driving seat to win the National Three league title after a 99-17 victory over Dalziel combined with league leaders Glasgow Accies suffering a shock defeat at Gordonians.

The hosts ran in an incredible 15 tries against the Motherwell outfit at Canal Park but head coach Davie Carson said the important result happened in Aberdeen where Gordonians beat Glasgow Accies 26-12.

The result means that if Highland win their final four games with bonus points they will win the division and promotion to National League Two.
