It was a promising start for the Inverness men as Highland took a 10-0 lead through a Rory Carson penalty and a Callum Carson converted try.

But Aberdeen Grammar came storming back as two converted tries gave them a 14-10 lead at half time.

Calum Macpherson was sent to the sin bin as Highland were temporarily reduced to 14 men and Grammar took advantage as they went ahead 21-10 after a five metre scrum.

Aberdeen Grammar put the game beyond doubt with a late uncoverted try to take the trophy.
