Highland bowl over Ross County to stay undefeated

HIGHLAND Cricket Club continued their relentless march towards the North of Scotland Cricket Association league title, hammering Ross County at Fraser Park.

The league leaders bowled out their opponents for just 69 from 37 overs to set up a nine-wicket victory.

It took the hosts just 17 overs to reach 70 runs with the loss of only one wicket. The club made it nine wins out of nine as they reached the halfway stage of the league championship.

First change bowler Jonathan Crabtree says the team was pleased with the ruthless manner of the victory as they remain in pole position and undefeated in the league.
