Abbie McNally, from Alness, who specialises in sprints and long jump, completed a highly successful summer with two silver medals at the World Junior Para Championships in Switzerland.

She followed that up the next month with a 200 metre gold medal at the British Under-20 Championships at Bedford, also claiming a bronze medal in the 100m.

Meanwhile Finlay MacLennan receives his first recognition as a disability athlete following a summer which saw him post personal best performances.
