Highland RFC head coach Dave Carson feels his side have clicked at just the right time as they look to secure National Two promotion.

Carson’s men romped to a 93-5 win over Whitecraigs at Canal Park last weekend, putting a blistering 11 tries on the board in the second half alone.

It has taken a little while to get the chemistry in the team to where Highland wanted it to be, but it has clearly paid off after last weekend’s ruthless display.

“You always look at the great international sides, the All Blacks and teams like that, that’s exactly what they do,” Carson explained.
