Gregor returns for Highland's clash with Heriot's Blues at Canal Park

By Andrew Henderson

Highland Rugby Club head coach Dave Carson is delighted to be able to welcome Gordon Gregor back into the fold for tomorrow’s match against Heriot’s Blues.

Results have not suffered in Gregor’s absence, with Highland winning all of their first four games in National One.

“He has an effect all over the park, in attack and defence,” Carson explained.

“He’s an out and out seven. He gets in the way, slows their ball down, and he carries really good lines off our outside back. Gordon has proven in the last couple of seasons he’s a great player.

“He’s itching to get back himself which is fantastic. Even with the finger injury, I don’t think he has missed a session. He has still been out running, and apart from the contact stuff he has done everything."
