Inverness Harrier Abbie McNally added another gold to a glittering season last weekend at the British Under-20 Championships at Bedford.
The Alness athlete, who captured a career high double silver at the World Para Athletics Junior Championships early last month, returned to the podium with another 200m triumph.
Her winning time of 31.32 seconds fell short of her personal best of 30.95s, but coach Charlie Forbes was more than satisfied with her late-season efforts.
The 18-year-old UHI student also took bronze in the 100m.
Forbes said: “Abbie has just followed on a good season with another couple of solid performances.
“She maybe didn’t give her best performance, but she wasn’t alone among the competitors, with a strong wind making it difficult. It wasn’t too bad – not far outside her personal best."
